Shifting Heals Your Heart

We have all had moments in life where your heart experiences pain. This could be you experienced some type of loss. Loss of a person you cared for through death, loss of job, or loss of relationships. The distinction is determined by the person and whatever the situation meant to you.

Psalm 118:5 states, “I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. 6. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

It will be a process but heart’s mend. It doesn’t mean that the person is forgotten or you can’t hold on to memories. But you have to be vulnerable and allow God to envelop your heart with love.

Can you be open to allowing God’s love in your heart?

  1. May sound cruel, but not meant so: I often reflect on the loss of my dear friend, of so many years, Antoinette and the impact we had on each others lives. We shared priceless moments together whether on the phone, daily, me visiting her, our girl trips, oh those girl trips.🙄🙄, or just reading devotionals or discussing sermons over the phone. You see, mourning her crossing over, was like a celebration, unlike others, who have impacted my life. We shared so much, talked so much, prayed so much, cried so much, laughed so much, that my grieving turned into joy. I am at peace, for her suffering and ill feeling ways, melted my heart, like no other. We knew one another so well, that I know we will meet again, and I am not afraid, for we have so much to catch up on. Oh no, no one, nothing, will steal the joys that awaits me. That will be my final resting place with my family and dear friend Toni. Thank you for giving us that time together.
