SHIFTING Does Not Mean You’re Inadequate

The last couple of weeks the word Inadequate has invaded my thoughts, dreams, and even actions. While the formal definition states, “lacking the quality or quantity required; insufficient for a purpose!”

I realized today that this word has shown up in my relationships, my job, and even my blog which has been inconsistent in the last few weeks. Then something hit my spirit earlier today where I heard a whisper, My grace is sufficient!

And of course that led me to 2nd Corinthians 12:9-10 ” And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

We will have moments in life where we are blind and can’t see the progress we have made in life. We may look for validation from other people, our family, our boss, or that like or share. But Jesus says You Are Enough! It doesn’t mean that you may or may not have some work to do! But if you are still standing in his eyes and are good enough to still breath the breathe of life! You have a Purpose!
